July 24, 2023

Tracy Roberts, a beloved daughter, sister, colleague, and friend, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 24th, 2023 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born on October 12, 1970, at Windham Hospital, Willimantic, CT. Tracy's radiant spirit and unwavering determination touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Tracy was the cherished daughter of Nancy Kunhardt Roberts and the late James Roberts. She brought joy and laughter into their lives, growing up in Lebanon, CT, where she developed a deep love for her family, the community, and the natural beauty that surrounded her.

Tracy was a loving sister to her siblings, Larry Waskiewicz of Lebanon, CT, and Cindy Pudlo of Tolland, CT. Tracy's caring nature and generous heart brought comfort and happiness to her entire family.

In her professional life, Tracy found a second family at Heartland Dental, where she dedicated 20 years of her life. Her work ethic was exemplary, and her colleagues admired her leadership, expertise, and compassion. Tracy's positive influence in the workplace created a supportive and harmonious environment, earning her the respect and admiration of everyone around her.

Beyond her career, Tracy was an embodiment of love and companionship. She shared a deep and meaningful relationship with her boyfriend, Mike Jackson, whose love and support were a constant source of strength throughout her life, especially during her courageous battle with cancer. Along with her close friends Jessica Brockmeyer and Melissa Malloy, who loved and supported her.

Tracy's radiant smile, infectious laugh, and kind soul left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. Her passion for life, her ability to see the best in others, and her innate sense of humor brought joy and comfort to countless hearts.

As we mourn the loss of Tracy, we find solace in the memories we shared with her. We remember the laughter, the love, and the warmth she brought into our lives. Tracy's legacy will endure, reminding us to cherish our time with loved ones, to embrace life's challenges with bravery, and to find happiness in the simplest of moments.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Tracy's name to the organization that was amazing in her time of need, Community Hospice & Palliative Care, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257, or give online at https://www.communityhospice.com/give/.

Tracy, you were a shining light in our lives, and your absence will be deeply felt. May you rest in eternal peace, free from pain and suffering, knowing that you were cherished by all who knew you.

Guestbook

  1. Sending comfort to those who will miss Tracy's ease of bringing people closer together.

  2. Tracy was sure one of a kind and will never be replaced. She was amazing to work with and always willing to help out, even if her plate was already full. If she didn't know the answer to your problem right away, she would be back with an answer shortly. She always had a smile on her face and after talking with her you would leave with a smile too. I know that she is leaving a big hole at Heartland, so I can only imagine how big the hole is for her loved ones and friends.
