Marilyn Joyce Fuger (Blunier)  born August 20,1934 (89) passed away peacefully at Tri County Nursing home on August 27, 2023.
Lyn was born and raised in Roanoke Illinois. She moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1975 where she lived for 39 years. The last 9 years she lived in Old Town, FL with her daughter, Cara..


Lyn is proceeded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marie Martin, husband Thomas Fuger and Grandchildren Casey, Codey and China Manning.
She is survived by her Sister Janice Getz of Roanoke, Illinois, Son Brian Blunier (Laura), Grandson Remy Blunier of North Port, FL and Daughter Cara Manning of Old Town, FL.   

Lyn made friends easily, she loved life, she was a basketball cheerleader, professional secretary and homemaker who loved singing in a choir. She loved animals, especially her beloved cats and was a master at growing the most beautiful plants that many desired, including local landscapers.

We have always felt fortunate being picked by our parents. We could not have had better parents. We love you mom and dad,

  1. Cara and Brian .. we are so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was such a sweet lady and she showed such grace in dealing with life’s struggles. She will be missed but we have fond memories to hold onto.
