Jerry Paul Heflin, age 79, of Ft. White, FL, passed away on October 26, 2023.
He was born in Harlan, Iowa, on April 20, 1944 and was married to Mary Jo Heflin for 46 years.
He is survived by his spouse, son, Jerry Lee Heflin (Jody) of Gainesville, FL, step-son, Chad White (Kellie) of Trenton, FL, sister, Karen Kay Sall of Colorado Springs, Colorado, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Lou Heflin, of Atlantic, Iowa, and step-son, Brad White, of Ft. White, FL.
He graduated from high school in Britt, Iowa and worked as a construction supervisor for most of his life. He enjoyed old cars, restoring tractors, had a strong love for horses, and especially for his little best friend, Buddy.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of High Springs. The family suggests memorial donations may be made to Haven Hospice.
