Sandra Michelle Cunniff

February 25, 1970 ~ November 20, 2023

Sandra Michelle Cunniff, 53, of St. Augustine, FL passed away on November 20, 2023, in the ICU at Baptist Hospital South in Jacksonville, FL.

Sandi was born February 25, 1970, in Jacksonville, FL, to Phil and Francine Thompson.  She attended Trinity Christian Academy from kindergarten through graduation in 1988.  She worked most of her adult life in the mortgage and title insurance industries.  She was a strong military spouse who held down the home front during her husband’s 3 tours to the Middle East.  She was an avid reader and loved to visit Savannah, Ga and the mountains.  Sandi’s greatest source of pride was her 2 beautiful daughters.  She was their biggest fan and supporter and loved to be the “Mama Bear”.

Sandi is survived by her husband of 30 years, Thomas Cunniff; her 2 daughters Miranda Cunniff and Alexandra Cunniff; parents Phil and Francine Thompson; brother Warren Thompson; Father-in-law Thomas (Judith) Cunniff Sr.; Sister-in-law Judith Cunniff; Brother-in-laws Jonathan (Connie) Cunniff and David (Patricia) Cunniff; and many, many dear friends.

Sandi will especially be remembered for an infectious smile that would light up a room.  Although she had some heath issues the past many years, she was an example of strength and grace by living her life “one day at a time”.

Memorial services to be announced by the family.

Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Cunniff family.
