Horace H. Woodring Jr, 87 passed away on December 15, 2023 at home in Ocala, FL.
He was born on March 7, 1936 to Horace H. Woodring and Emma Lavina Sexton in Bennezette, PA and was the oldest of 5.
He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis (Mossey) of 52 years. He is survived by his 5 children Steven (Lynda), Dorothy (Tino), Eric (Cindy), Horace (Laney), Wayne (Angel), sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers George and Roger and his sisters Jeanette and Robin. He will also be missed by Lynda Wallaszek and Patty Smith.
He was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force for over 26 years. He enjoyed woodworking and carving.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Hospice of your choice.
