William Deen “Billy” DeChant, 50, of Orange Park, Florida passed away peacefully on January 19, 2024 due to complications of Crohn’s disease.
Billy is preceded in death by his father, Thomas DeChant, His mother, Lucie DeChant and a brother, Hope Colson.
Billy is survived by his loving life partner, Valerie Scoville, their daughter Isabella Sharon DeChant, Orange Park, Florida, brothers H.L. Colson (Angela) of Lake Butler, Florida, Bobby Colson (Alice), of Newberry, Florida.
Billy was a devoted fan of science fiction and fantasy literature with a lifelong love of Star Wars movies, Star Wars books and Star Wars trivia. He enjoyed playing his guitar and collecting comic books.
Billy will be missed by all who knew him.

I LOVE you sweetie! Just a reminder: his father's name was Richard not Thomas. Thomas was his grandfather's name. And he is survived by five brothers and sisters on his father's side. I LOVE you All, just as William did and still dose, from the other side of the veil!
The video above was a Valentine's present from William in 2015. His voice is in the back ground of the video. And the picture is our first family photo. Also, I would like to add that William was a great musician, had a talent with multiple instruments and a great voice, as well. And he had many ideas for movies and multiple songs written that were never published. He had a record out called Angels in the Circutry. (I think I spelt that wrong), if anyone is interested in listening to it. This albumn was on Amazon but was taken down at some point, due to the contract running out.
