Connie Lorraine Thomason (aka Eunice, Cheetah) gained her wings on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 4:20pm in Gainesville, FL. She was born on October 10, 1963 and grew up in Cross Creek, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Lorraine Thomas, three brothers, Gene, Billy (Linda) and Wendy (Joyce) Thomas; she is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Thomason, children, Mitchell Dodd (Monique), Leah Dodd (Corey), brothers, Kinnis Thomas (Irene), Larry Thomas (Joyce), Tony Thomas, Ronnie Thomas (Nancy), 10 wonderful grandchildren, countless nieces, nephews, cousins and many other loved ones.
Connie was a lover of many things- thrift shopping, gardening, plants, decorating and traveling. She had a way of turning everything she touched into treasure. Life was her passion and she celebrated every single second- the good and the bad. She never ran out of jokes or pranks and loved making people happy. Wherever she was- it became home. There was never a shortage of root beer floats, cookies or brownies and there was always room at her table. She was as genuine as they come. She never gave up, not on herself, not on anyone. She loved unconditionally…. with her whole heart… all of the time. Beautiful inside and out, she never failed to “get up, dress up and show up.”
Although we greatly mourn her loss and will miss her dearly, we know her love and energy will forever live in all of us.

I knew you from stories I heard from Sabrina. You were a fun loving person and will be missed. May you rest in peace.
Sorry for your loss
