In Loving Memory of Virginia (Jean) Simprini DeAngelis
Jean, beloved and cherished Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away
peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Harbor House Assisted Living in Dunnellon, Florida
at the wonderful age of 96.
Jean was born on July 29, 1927, in Philadelphia, PA to James and Rose Simprini and lived and
worked most of her life in Souderton and Telford, PA. From a young age, she exhibited
remarkable artistic talent which she continued to foster throughout her life. Jean especially loved
painting, but it was sewing that lead to a career as a professional seamstress. She also had a
passion for, and keen knowledge of politics, and could seriously debate anyone on issues. Jean
showed unwavering devotion to her spiritual life and her church, St Marie Goretti Catholic
Church in Hatfield, PA.
Jean was a devoted mother, sister, and friend. She enriched the lives of those around her with her
kindness and compassion. She loved her dog, Cindy, and her parakeets, Pappy, and Louie, who
brought so much joy to her life. She loved laughter and had a sharp sense of humor.
Jean will be dearly missed by her son David and grandchildren Lindsay and Derek DeAngelis,
two great-grandchildren, brothers Ron and Jim Simprini, her large extended family of nieces and
nephews and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love,
kindness, and cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved and
knew her.
Though she may be gone from our sight, her spirit will forever guide us.
Rest in peace, Virginia. You will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
