Judith "Judy" O'Neill

Judith "Judy" A. O'Neill (Lutz), passed away on April 10, 2024, in Ocala, FL, at the age of 84. Judy, a caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, was born on January 10, 1940.

Formerly of Bloomsburg, PA, Judy was a graduate of Danville High School and was a graduate of Reading Hospital nursing school. Outside of work, Judy found joy in her hobbies of cross-stitching, cooking and animals. Her love and kindness extended not only to her family but also to the furry and feathered friends she cherished.

Judy is survived by two daughters: Jennifer O’Neill of Newark, DE, and Jacqueline O'Neill of Ocala, FL, as well as her cherished granddaughter Claire Schuster, Newark, DE. Judy is survived by her brother, Freddy Lutz and his wife Bruna, residing in Cordenons, Italy, and her sister, Shirley Bacon, from Seattle, WA. Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John V. O'Neill (of Mount Carmel, PA), her parents Donald and Margaret Lutz, and her brother Donald Lutz Jr., all of Danville, PA.

Judy and John met on the dance floor at Knoebel’s and shared 58 years of marriage together prior to him passing away on October 16, 2020. John was a truckdriver at Wise Potato Chips in Berwick, PA. Judy and John will be interned together, on Monday, April 29th at 11am at Elan Memorial Park in Bloomsburg, PA..

Judy and John's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
