Richard Wayne McKinstry, 72, passed away on May 16, 2024 in Lecanto, FL. He was born August 3, 1951 in New Milford, CT and grew up in central Vermont. He moved to Lecanto in 1984 where he lived until his passing.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Knowles) McKinstry; four children; Angela Marie Mutch (her spouse Robert), Tammy Marie Sharp, Richard Wayne McKinstry Jr, and Tonua Lynn Jansens (her spouse Jerry): six grandchildren; Joshua Kipfer-McKinstry, Katharine McKinstry, Jacob Kipfer-McKinstry, Alyssa Sharp, Kolton Loftus-McKinstry and Mia Mutch; four great grand children; Isabella, Emilee, Jared, and Katelynn.
He enjoyed building, sheet rocking, painting water slides and Disney World. No services are planned per his wishes.
Rest in Peace Richard until we meet again.
