Robert "Bobby" Thompson

Robert (Bobby) Harold Thompson, 50, of Gainesville, Florida passed away suddenly on May 24, 2024.

Bobby was born July 7, 1973 to Robert and Donna Thompson in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Bobby is survived by his mother Donna; his siblings: John (Cindy), Cindy (Raymond), and Barbara.  His nieces/nephews Justin, Jetmir, Sheri, Travis (Kelly), MaKayla (Sabian), Justin, Craig (Bobbie). 

Bobby graduated Interlachen High School in 1992. He is a Marine and Soldier.  As a Marine, he achieved the rank of Corporal and served four years.  As a Soldier, he achieved the rank of Specialist and served three years for a total of seven years in the U.S. Military.  At the time of his death, he worked for the Veterans Affairs in Gainesville, Florida. 

Bobby was predeceased in death by his father Robert Thompson who sadly passed away a few months before Bobby (February 2024).

Bobby’s life will be honored at a private family ceremony at his family’s home in Interlachen.
