Iris Pannell

Iris Lynn Boree Pannell, 81, of Jacksonville, died peacefully in her sleep August 2, 2024, at Orange Park Medical Center. Born in Jacksonville, she was the only child of the late Randolph and Gussie Mae (Bennett) Boree. She grew up in Jacksonville and graduated from Nathan Bedford Forest High School. In 1961 she married the love of her life, Clarence Douglas Pannell (Doug). Together they raised their 3 sons. For years, she was an active member of Murray Hill Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, and a good friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Doug Pannell. She is survived by her three sons, Michael (Elizabeth), Scott (Angie), and David Pannell, three grandchildren, Dillion, Michael II and Irvin. And three great grandchildren. Aubrye, Kylo and Katie.
