Bradley “Brad” J Perry, 62, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family Saturday morning August 10, 2024. Brad was born on April 02, 1962, in Charlotte, Michigan, the son of James David Perry (Dave) and Rosetta Mae Perry. He was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and grandpa.
Brad started working at a young age in the construction business. He spent most of his working years at E.C. Concrete who was bought out by A.A. Pittman & Sons Concrete Company in 2016. Brad was a very loyal and hard-working employee that took a lot of pride in his work.
Brad wasn’t much for words, but if you were around him long enough, you would catch on to his quick-witted personality. He loved to give people a hard time. He could tell a joke with the straightest face and you never knew if he was serious or not. He was a stubborn one but one thing about him he had a huge love for his family. If you knew Brad, you knew he loved his beer, cranking up some old country music, Michigan Wolverines and spending time with his family.
Brad is survived by his mother, Rosetta Perry, long-term significant other Marianne Fletcher, Brothers Bryan Perry (Ginny), Dale Perry (Celita), and Carl Perry (Lori). He was a loving father to three children: Bradley J Perry JR, Carmen Patton (Jonathan) and Brett Perry (Keirah). Brad is also survived by his most pride and joy grandson, Carter Colitzas. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Brad is preceded in death by his father, James David Perry (Dave), Grandparents, Kate Mix, Carmen Ebersole and Burton Ebersole, Uncle Kendal Wilcox.
Brad will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
We will be having a Celebration of Life August 31, 2024 @ 2:00pm at 14425 Needham Drive Jacksonville, Florida 32256. To show love for Brad we are asking everyone to wear something to represent Michigan Wolverines, even if it’s just their colors, blue and yellow.
