On August 19, 2024, the world lost a dearly beloved man, Martin "Marty" John Levack. Born in Connecticut on September 19, 1953. He is survived by his dedicated and beloved partner, Beverly Anderson. He was the father of his two boys, Turner and Freeman Levack, which he showered with unconditional love.
He is also survived by his brother Steve (Sue) as well as his extended family Elizabeth (Matt), Lori and Leo.
Marty spent his early years living in Wallingford, CT where he went to school and developed his auto mechanic skills. He eventually owned his own auto and truck repair business during the craziness of the gas shortages of the 1970’s. When Marty felt he needed a life style change, he built a house in Vermont where he started his family. Marty literally built the house with his own hands and it represented one of his proudest achievements. When opportunities presented themselves years later, Marty sold his cherished Vermont house and moved his family to Michigan where he began his successful sales career with Ryder Truck Rental, then United Rental, and finally with Great Dane/Johnson Truck Bodies in Jacksonville, FL where he was loved by all that worked with him.
In his spare time, he and Bev cherished his time off cruising and traveling, especially when fishing in the Keys. He was a NASCAR enthusiast, enjoyed football and avid bird watcher. He delighted in entertaining family and friends at Club "M". Whether needed or not, Marty always gave a little extra.
Rest in peace, Marty. Your memory will live in the hearts and minds of those who were fortunate enough to call him family, father or friend.
Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Levack family.
