He is also survived by his two siblings, Becca and Brian.
Bill was born in the District of Columbia and grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Hampton High School in Allison Park, Pennsylvania. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in International Affairs from the United States Air Force Academy(Discharged Medical Honorable). Bill met Jeanne when she was a student at University of Pittsburgh and they were married in December of 1967. He then completed his Medical Degree at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He was board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology, practicing in Gainesville, Atlanta and Warner Robins, Georgia and Champaign and Danville, Illinois. He enjoyed a successful career for 32 years in adult and adolescent psychiatry, both private practice and community health, and was greatly respected by colleagues and patients alike.
Outside of his medical practice, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, following the lives of his two sons and seven grandchildren. He thoroughly enjoyed jogging(including marathons), playing tennis, reading, following college and professional sports, listening to classical music, traveling with Jeanne, attending Shakespeare productions, watching movies in the theater, making apple pies, answering all the questions on Jeopardy, and hooking rugs. He especially loved everything "Disney". He also cherished his yearly family vacations to Callaway Gardens where he learned new circus skills.
A memorial service will be held in Bill's honor at a yet to be determined time and location. In December the Earley family will have a private celebration of Bill's life at his favorite place on earth, Callaway Gardens.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
