KELLY DAVIDSON SARTORI
Kelly Davidson Sartori of Bronson, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024, at Haven – E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, Florida, after a brief illness.
Kelly was born on March 17, 1958, in Torrington, Connecticut, to the late James P. and Helen S. Davidson. Kelly grew up in Colebrook, Connecticut, as the youngest of four children. After graduating from Northwestern Regional 7 High School in Winsted, Connecticut, in 1973, Kelly attended Bennett College in Millbrook, New York. In 1983, she graduated from the Baystate Medical Center School of Nursing in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she earned an Associate Degree that enabled her to become a Registered Nurse.
Kelly had a life-long love of animals, particularly horses and dogs. She got her first horse when she was ten years old and participated in competitive show jumping for many years. Her horse even accompanied her to Bennett College!
Kelly’s love for her family surpassed her love of animals. In addition to her parents, Kelly was predeceased by her brother, James P. Davidson, III, and his wife, Karen Satherlie Davidson. Kelly leaves her daughter, Jena Daake, and her husband, James, of Ellisville, Mo., and her son, Daniel Sartori, and his wife, Diana, of Coral Springs, Fla. Kelly is also survived by her sister, Jane D. Montori of Longmeadow, Mass., her brother Robert W. Davidson, and his wife Cynthia, of Colebrook, Ct., her grandsons, Jackson and Justin James, her aunt, Mildred S. Barry, of Jacksonville, Fla., and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Kelly’s name can be made to the Humane Society of North Central Florida, 4205 NW 6th Street, Gainesville, FL 32609. Funeral services are private.
