My Grandmother Margie was my best friend growing up. We had so many adventures from her driving up to New York to pick me up one summer to taking me to baseball games and Jaguar training camp to make sure I had a fun childhood. She was an amazing grandmother and great grandmother and she will be missed so much. I will miss the joking around and joy she brought to all of our lives. At long last though she is in no more pain. We will love and miss you always Grandma.
We love you and miss you so much.
Going back so many years. You were a constant present in my early years and my teens. You swept in to guide my mother and help with us kids. You didn't always have an easy life yourself but you never gave up and you always gave of yourself. . I am grateful Kris was always by your side. So very happy you connected with Deb again. And now you are with our Lord. Until we see you again.
Mom,
I've been thinking about what I was going to write for a few days now. I still can't believe that you're gone. When I get up, I should be making your coffee and toast like usual. I stare at your chair and your room. The house is so quiet without you. We used to laugh and joke about everything and now nothing. Mom, in the 20 plus years that we lived together we became more than just mother and daughter we became friends and there was no other friend that I wanted to spend time with than you.
To say that I'm lost is an understatement. I'm completely devastated. I don't know what to do next. I'm so lonely without you. I need you to tell me what to do. I've never been alone like this before.
I'll be ok though. I have my faith. I have my Jesus, and the angels are with me.
You were and exceptionally strong woman. Raising 2 young girls all alone working 2 and 3 jobs to keep us afloat in western New York. Debbie decided to stay in New York and me, and you came to Orlando, Fl for our new adventure and new life. I was 13 and you were 36. We had so much fun.
Getting me through High School and then into college was a feet of itself but we did it.
You remarried and moved to Jacksonville, and I followed you. After you divorced and moved to Callahan I followed you there too. When I married and moved to Spokane both of us were again devastated, but we had visits, and it was fun. When I divorced you moved to Spokane, and we had fun again. Going places, exploring, it was wonderful, but all things had to come to an end. You got older and we needed to move back to Florida to where family was.
And here we are!
You have been the best mother I could have ever asked for. I will love you until forever. I know we'll see each other again, but it just doesn't seem like soon enough. You're my momma. You'll always be my momma. I love you so much. Know that. xoxo
I’ve always thought of Aunt Margie as a classy lady. When I was younger I remember going to the restaurant that her mom had by the canal. Katie and Joey were young. I remember going places with her and your dad. I always look at the house they lived in on Bryant Street. Brings back many good memories. She is now reunited with her family and friends that had gone before her and I’m sure it was a big reunion. Her longevity had a lot to do with you Krissy and the grands being with her all those years. Although I hadn’t seen her for many years she still holds a special place in my heart. Love, Kalleen aka Katleen 💔❤️💔
