Christopher Morris Murphree, 56, of Ocala, Florida died unexpectedly on February 12, 2024.
Christopher was born on August 19,1968 in Memphis, Tennessee to Morris Lee Murphree and Jean Linton Murphree. He attended the State Technical Institute at Memphis, Tennessee in 1992 earning a degree in Micro-Computer and Business Management.
Christopher went on to a long and successful career as a Real Estate Broker. In addition to having several insurance sales licenses, he was the Southern District distributor for Waton Solar Industries selling solar panels and operating Ocala Green Energy, a small alternative energy e-commerce business.
Christopher loved the water and enjoyed kayaking, boating, and sailing He particularly enjoyed racquetball and played with the same group of enthusiasts for 10 years.
Christopher was predeceased by both of his parents. He is survived by his wife Penelope Murphree, his beloved daughter Crystal Murphree, and son-in-law Wilfredo Santana.
To honor Christopher’s memory, his daughter asks you to donate to and support charities such as The Jed Foundation and the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Thru covid and beyond while stuck in our homes I met Buttkicker via a computer game and via the discord chat we got to know each other well. You always put a smile on my face when you said, "yo ship is on fiyah!"
I miss our talks and game play kicker…… you are sorely missed. RIP amigo.
