Christine Seaman Constantine

December 21, 1953 ~ January 7, 2025

Christine Seaman Constantine, age 71, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, surrounded by her family after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born on December 21, 1953, in Springfield, Ohio, Christine was the beloved wife of Dean Constantine, cherished mother to Benjamin Boate, Brent (Ciara) Boate, Brandon Boate, and her stepdaughter, Cristina Constantine, and devoted grandmother to Raeleigh and Henrik Boate.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lola Seaman II, and her brother Jessie Seaman. She is survived by her loving husband, Dean; her children and grandchildren; her brother, William Seaman III (Diane); as well as her brothers-in-law, James Constantine, Ted Constantine (Lisa), and sister-in-law Amy Fesler (Earl). Christine also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.

A kind-hearted and nurturing woman, Christine had a deep love for her family and friends. She was known for her warmth, generosity, and her unwavering commitment to those she loved. Christine enjoyed art, painting and decorating.  She had an eye for turning random finds into beautiful pieces. She loved football and spent many weekends cheering on the Florida Gators and the Jacksonville Jaguars. She also enjoyed gardening and caring for her koi pond. She spent many days trying to keep the river otters and birds from harming her Koi.  Christine’s love for animals was evident in her many pets, including several beloved dogs and her cat, Stanley, whom we are sure ran to greet her in heaven.

Christine was a devout Christian and a long-time member of Christ's Church in Mandarin, Florida. Her faith was a guiding force in her life, and she touched many through her example of kindness, compassion, and devotion.  May she rest in peace, and her loving spirit continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Vitas Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association in Christine’s memory.

Christine would often recite scripture verses in a beautiful way during our meetings, and both of them attended numerous Service Projects all around Jacksonville. We will always miss our Christian sister, and offer prayers and support to Dean and the family.

  2. I knew you as a caring person and this world lost a beautiful soul, you will be missed. Rest now you are at peace.
