Janice Faye Waldo (78) passed away on
January 14th, 2025 in Gainesville Florida. Born September 17th, 1946 in Gainesville Florida. Janice dedicated over 20 years of her career as a school bus driver and then a route coordinator for the Alachua County School District.
Janice was a loving and family oriented person, she was celebrated for her remarkable compassion and unwavering reliability and selflessness devotion to her loved ones. Her hobbies included computer games, jigsaw puzzles, and watching sports. Janice was also a member of Jehovahs Witnesses attending in Gainesville Florida since 1974.
Janice will be remembered by her children, William (Bill) Waldo (Renee), Matthew Waldo and her grandchildren, Ashley Waldo, Michael Waldo, Sara Waldo (Tyler) and Gabe Waldo. She also had 4 great grandchildren And a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Monroe Addison and Daisy Johnson Addison. And her husband James Perry Waldo Sr. And her son James
( Jay) Perry Waldo Jr. As well as her 4 brothers, W.M. Addison, Leroy Addison, Donald Addison and
Larry Addison. And 2 sisters, Yvonne Foster and Betty Ferguson.

So sorry to hear that Janice has died. I remember how her love for Sara led her to make some positive changes in her life many years ago. I know she was loved by many who will look forward to seeing her again – maybe sooner than we think!
She was a Great Mother in law and wonderful person….she was truly loved and will be forever missed and in our hearts forever
Janice was a wonderful and very loving person. She was very close to ky grandparents Betty and Earl. She was so supportive during their deaths and a great comfort to ky family. She will be greatly missed.
