Glen Donald Weatherford of High Springs Florida passed away unexpectedly at age 70 on Monday, February 24, 2025.

Glen was born in Lexington, Tn on February 26, 1954. Glen married the love of his life, Joyce Ann Still on June 12, 1971. They were married for 53 years. Glen is an Army National Guard Veteran.

His favorite Bible verse was Proverbs 17:22 - A merry heart doeth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Glen loved spending time with his family, telling corny jokes and making everyone around him feel special. He was a devoted and loving husband, affectionate father, and THE BEST Papa ever. Glen would always tell each of his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids that they were “his favorite”.

Glen loved to fish with his son, son-in-law, grandson and fishing buddy Tim. He enjoyed working outside, mowing the lawn and doing anything that kept him busy.

Glen is survived by his wife Joyce Weatherford, his children: Roy Weatherford (Sharon), Melody Cox (Dwayne), Sherry Strickland (Bruce), Misty Blackford (Danny). Grandchildren: Robyn (Niko), Celeste, Alyssa, Brandon (Brooke), Clayton (Candice), Britni (Trey), Nathan, Ashleigh, Hailey, Cole (Emma), Chloe, Lea, Courtney, Christopher, Connor, Brinae, Sabrian, Sheri, Traci (Justin) and 12 great-grandchildren. Happy is the man whose quiver is full!

Glen will be remembered for his infectious smile, his sense of humor, his love for his family and his friendship to others.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be presented, in his honor, to The Pentecostals of Gainesville Capital Campaign.
