Julia H. Mendes

Julia H. Mendes, devoted mother to Mabel, Patricia, Yuly and Jeanette, passed away at 71 on March 11, 2025; leaving a void her family cannot fill. Through her life her daughters remained her pride and joy and top priority. They were her little princesses and the loves of her life. 
She was born in Peru to Cesar Augusto Mendes and Margarita Chugden. She grew up in Cajamarca, Peru and moved to Lima, Peru, where she completed high school and married Luis Alberto with whom she started a family and raised four daughters. She continued to study Haute Couture Design, while creating a magical and loving home for her family.
Julia is survived by her four daughters, seven grandchildren, three sons in law, her three sisters, Rosa, Maria & Isabel, and her brother Luis; as well as multiple nephews, nieces, and cousins. All of whom will never forget the wisdom and kindness she brought to their lives.
She encouraged, supported, advised and filled with her infinite love every person she came 
across with. She will be immensely missed.
Her service will be held in private in Jacksonville, FL by the family.

Julia H. Mendes, madre devota a sus hijas Mabel, Patricia, Yuly y Jeanette, falleció a los 71 años el día 11 de marzo del 2025; dejando un vacío que su familia no podrá llenar. A lo largo de su vida sus hijas fueron su prioridad y mayor orgullo. Ellas fueron sus princesitas y los amores mas grandes de su vida.
Julia nació en Perú a Cesar Augusto Mendes y Margarita Chugden. Creció en Cajamarca, Perú y se mudó a Lima, Perú, donde termino la secundaria y contrajo matrimonio con Luis Alberto; con quien comenzó una familia y crio a sus cuatro hijas. Paso a estudiar Alta Costura mientras creaba un hogar mágico y amoroso para su familia.
Le sobreviven a Julia sus cuatro hijas, siete nietas y nietos, tres yernos, sus tres hermanas Rosa, Maria e Isabel, y su hermano Luis; así como muchos sobrinos, sobrinas, primos y primas. Los cuales nunca olvidaran la sabiduría y la gentileza que ella trajo a sus vidas.
Ella dio ánimo, apoyo, aconsejo y lleno con su amor infinito a cada persona que encontró en su camino. Será inmensamente extrañada.
Tendrá un sepelio privado en Jacksonville, Florida
