Rosalyn Sumaya Quinene

November 28, 1996 ~ March 17, 2025

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Rosalyn Quinene (aka Rose, Rosie bob doodle head,  Rosie, Rozay) 29 of Gainesville,FL.

Rose 🌹 loved anything nature, but especially spending time in it. She loved her plants. Her favorites were sunflowers 🌻. Rose loved to learn new crafts; she was very talented in so many ways . Rose would do anything once, she loved to thrift & refurbish shop & she could make any man’s trash HER treasure.  Music was her favorite escape, her voice was so angelic. She enjoyed spending time with those she loved. She was the light in every room she walked in. She loved to make people laugh, goofy is who she truly was . To love Rose & to be loved by Rose was something truly special. Her spirit was genuine & warming. The memories we created with Rose we will forever cherish. Her love, laughter, & gratitude will continue to inspire us. 

Thank you Rose for your beautiful soul , boundless creativity, & encouraging spirit. Without question we love you now & always. 

She had a big heart to help people. Rose made a lasting impact on the lives of everyone she met. Rose is survived by her loving family &  friends. In accordance to Rose’s wishes there will be no funeral. The family will hold a celebration of life tbd at a later time.

    You will truly be missed NO WORDS  will ever be able to describe. All of the memories all of the holidays all of the events yet to come. Our hearts are so heavy with your absence.
    You have been such a big part in our lives that the void is unreal. 
    You came in our lives around the fifth grade. The joy that you brought us can never be replaced..
    Thank you for being that person for my daughter. Thank you for always supporting her and loving her being there for her, just showing up unconditionally through every and all situations . You always knew what to say or do to help her. 
    I love you dearly my fourth daughter thank you for being a part of our family.
    I know that you will still protect provide and watch over all of us even better so now, but I asked that you please put your wings around ALELIA and guide her through this grief.
    Your spirit lives with us and in us forever.

  5. Rose you are truly one of my closest friends. I don’t even know what to say. What I want to say is you should not have done that!I love you! I’m so blessed to have had you in my life. I’m so grateful to have experienced your light. I’m weakened to know  that I’ll never see your smile again hear you laugh or feel your hug. But I’ll always and forever love you Rose. I hope you’re dancing in sky or you made your way to the waters. You deserve peace my love. Rest in peace.

  6. If I could tell you how much you really meant to me, you’d probably still be here with me. It seems like yesterday I saw you at Howard Bishop and my heart skipped a beat. Fast forward a few years we’re reunited in High School doing ROTC of all things. I remember one time you hit me so hard I still feel the shock through my body. It’s been about 14-15 years since that happen. I just hope you’re at peace now. Until we meet again Rose 🌹. I Loved you for as long as I can remember wish I could have told to your face. 💛

My babies Maynor of been your biological brother and sister, but you most certainly couldn't tell the three of you that. You did this right and for that I am grateful for your contribution! To say Rose will be missed is an understatement… She will forever be loved and remembered… Rest in Heavenly Peace …

    l am deeply sorry for your loss of Rosalyn. She was such a beautiful soul. I am glad to have met her when she came to PA to visit. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

  15. To Christina, I am so sorry for your loss. My family is heartbroken, they remember her spending Easter Sunday with them with her beautiful pink dress.Mr. James loved her like his own granddaughter, he loved taking her to school and when had to take her places. I am praying for you. Love you.

She was really a nice person may God give you all strength and peace during this difficult time.

  23. Rose was the most sweet and thoughtful soul you will ever meet. I got to watch first hand how her friendship impacted my wife. I also got to witness the genuine joy they found being around each, whether it was on a regular game night, family dinner, a trip to Tampa, a trip to Puerto Rico, or my wedding. She always treated me with kindness and respect. For all of the wonderful memories, she will always be missed.
