Susan Page Ward, a teacher aide, passed away due to natural causes on May 18, 2025, at 11:01 PM at the age of 71 in Leesburg, FL.

Susan was predeceased by her parents, Braxton and Pearl Page. She is survived by her siblings, Buddy and his wife Donna, John and his wife Judy, and her sister Norma. Additionally, she is survived by her only daughter, Elizabeth (Husband Chris), her grandchildren, David and Susan, and her great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Holden, and Tyler.

Susan was born to Braxton and Pearl Page in Manila, Philippines, on June 1, 1953.

While her father, Braxton, was in the military, he came to the United States in the 1950s. As a child, she was a loving daughter and sister. After graduating high school at Winter Park High School in 1971, she discovered her passion for working in a school environment.

Her first job was helping children at Didlake School in 1971. She later explored a variety of careers, including working in a bridal shop in the mid-1970s and being a waitress for many years. She eventually became a bus driver aide and retired as a teacher aide.

In 2007, she moved to Lake Harris Nursing Home for her health, where she resided until her passing. During her time there, she made many friends and was well-known for her crafts. She was frequently recognized as the Best Decorated Wheelchair winner.

A spiritual lady, Susan will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
