Debra Kay Beam

Debra Kay "Debbie" Beam, 64, of St. Augustine, Florida, formerly of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away suddenly in St. Augustine on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Known as "Little Debbie or Debbie" she was born Monday, December 5,1960 in Starke County, Indiana to her biological parents, Clarence Bailey and Darlene Stephens. Debbie was adopted by Billy and Florence (Moeller) Figert. Debbie graduated from Warsaw High School. On April 2, 1979 in Winona Lake, Indiana, she was married to Mitchell Leo Beam who died on February 18, 1996. She moved to St. Augustine to be close to her son My-Shaun over 10 years ago. Debbie was a beautiful soul who will never be forgotten. Debbie is survived by her son, My-Shaun of St. Augustine, FL, her daughter, Cherish Buriff of Winona Lake, Indiana; 6 grandchildren; her siblings who she cherished, Tammy Justice, of Mishawaka, Indiana; Susie Duggan of Doraville, GA; Beulah Moore of Monon, IN; Sherry (Terry) Bennett, of Indianapolis, and Rodger (Crystal) Bailey of DeMotte, IN. She is also survived by her nephew Byron (Sean) Riley, of Mishawaka, Indiana and many other nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her husband Mitch; her biological parents Clarence Bailey and Darlene Stephens; her adopted mother; and her siblings; Lois Jean Bailey and Clifford Shaggs Bailey. Per Debbie's wishes she is being cremated and laid to rest early in July next to her husband, Mitch at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw, Indiana: Debbie will be remembered for her smile and laugh. We love you forever and ever Debbie.
