Frances Jo Esteves, 74, of Ocklawaha, FL passed away on July 9th 2025.
Frances was born on April 28th 1951 to the Late Joseph M Kation and Theresa M Kation in Newport Rhode Island. Frances lived in Rhode Island until 1985 when her and her family relocated to Florida.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, John C Esteves Sr; Her children, John Jr(Kristen) , Marcy, Mary and Dale (Brittany), Brandy. 12 Grandchildren, Michael, Bree’Anna, Kylie, Rebecca, Austin, Nicolas, Brooklyn, Chance, Cody, Noah, Katlyn, Kloie. 9 Great Grandchildren, Landon, Nevaeh, Leilani, Mavrick, Mateo, Delilah, Milo, Jane, Ashley, Baby Girl Due November
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph M Kation and Theresa M Kation; her brother Joseph Kation.
Frances will truly be missed by her family. We will always cherish the memories we have with her.
The family will hold a celebration of life later, reach out to the family for further information.

Mom-mom, you are the best grandmother a granddaughter could ever ask for and even GREATER grandmother to all your great grands. They ALL loved you so much! I sure am going to miss our weekly phone calls and just hearing your voice in general! I’ll forever cherish the memories we shared together especially getting to grow up with you and always watching you cook. I’m going to miss everything about you Mom-mom. We will take care of Papa for you and look after him as you did! You will FOREVER be missed by all those who knew you and loved you. I’ll meet you in the stars one day and paint the sky with you as you did!

Mom, I can not believe it has been a week already. I just went and picked up your Death Certificate and lost it. How can this all be real….no more phone calls, no more hugs. I Love you so much and miss the hell out of you.. Don't worry about Dad we are all looking after him. Till we meet again…. "AND EVERYTHING SO"
Fran, you were my neighbor for 16 yearrs, but you have been my dear friend longer. We would laugh, talk about grandbabies, shared many holiday meals, and knew that one day we would have our eternal rest in heaven. God has taken you home, and those left behind carry your love and memories with them. Another favorite saying she liked to use was, "You can't fight city hall." You worked hard all your life caring for your loved ones, and now is your time to rest. I am thankful that we were friends and you shared your life and laughter with me. I will miss you, but i know you are in the arms of Jesus. Well done, Fran, well done. You are at peace.

Oh my meme I miss you more than words can describe I love you more than anything thank you for being the greatest grandmother a girl could ask for. This is hard without you. Now receiveing calls every other day or even hearing your AND EVERYTHING SO ! I will for cherish my wonderful childhood with you in it and what memories I have with you as an adult. I always remember you for who you were and not what I seen last of you. I love you to the stars and moon and back my meme ! May you rest easy and always remember we got it from here. Good bye Auntie Frances, you will be missed by many. I’ll never forget sleeping over your house for my birthday. You gave me my first bat and glove of my own and we went to the movies and watched the champ. It was the first time I saw uncle John cry which was nothing to be ashamed about there was not a dry eye in the theater. Love you auntie. God speed
