“Frank W. Krol - Driver, Pops, and Papaw of Starke, FL"

Born on January 24, 1957, in Gary, Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, in Gainesville, Fl at Haven Hospice with his family by his side.

A devoted husband to Denys Krol for 37 wonderful years. Their partnership was a testament to love and commitment, and together they built a beautiful family.

Frank was a proud father to his two children, Frankie (Karla) Krol and Jerica (David) Young, both of Starke, Fl. His spirit and love will continue to shine through his beloved grandchildren, Asher and Sterling, who brought him immense joy. Frank is also survived by his brothers, James and Nicholas.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Christine and Joseph Krol and siblings Joe, Peter and Alberta.

Frank was a commercial semi driver for many decades, and retired due to health issues several years ago. His favorite hobbies included spending time with his family, and watching football, especially the Chicago Bears.

Frank had a knack of making others smile, and an infectious sense of humor. He was the type of person who made everyone around him feel special and loved; his caring nature and humor will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Frank leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light. He will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.

"We love you dad.”
