James Wilburn Holt III

James W Holt III, 66 of Morriston, FL passed away October 1, 2025 after a courageous battle with Cancer at the EW and Lucille Cates Hospice House in Ocala , FL. He was a devoted Husband, Father and Paw-Paw.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Malora and two children, Jordan Holt, and Jacklyn Holt Fields (Shawn). He was also a proud Paw-Paw to Harmony Fields, Faith Fields, and Jackson Fields. In addition he is survived by two brothers, Timmy Holt and Rex Holt, Sisters-in-law, Vicki Holt and Colleen Holt, Nieces, Tiffany, Ashley, Roxanne ,Lacey, Destiny and their children.

James was a roofer for many years, he also worked in the Horse Farms near Morriston. He was known for being a "shade-tree" mechanic for his neighborhood and an all around handyman for his neighbors as well.  He loved to smoke food for the family and friends, loved fishing and hunting. He was a die-hard Florida Gator fan.  He will be missed by many friends and family. Family including our neighbors who became family after they moved around him.

James was preceded in death by his Mother-Janice Holt, Father-James W Holt Jr, Brother-Robert Holt, brother Anthony Holt and Sister-in-law, Debbie Holt.
