Jesse Lee Shreves Jr

June 13, 1985 ~ December 2, 2025

Born in: Charleston, SC
Resided in: Jacksonville, FL

Jesse Lee Shreves Jr., beloved son, brother, nephew, and friend, passed away quietly at his home in Jacksonville, Florida on December 2, 2025, at the age of 40.

Born on June 13, 1985, in Charleston, South Carolina, Jesse spent most of his life in Jacksonville. He graduated from Sandalwood High School and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida State College at Jacksonville. He began his career in finance, working for nearly a decade as a Credit Specialist with Citi before courageously pursuing a new passion for cosmetology. He studied at the Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute in Jacksonville and, in recent years, worked as a hairstylist at Phi Eco Salon, where he brought creativity, care, and joy to his clients and colleagues.

Jesse had an extraordinary presence. He was the life of every gathering—radiant, warm, and unforgettable. His smile could light up a room, and his magnetic personality drew people in wherever he went. Quick-witted and effortlessly funny, Jesse had a gift for lifting spirits and making others feel at ease. He loved dancing, traveling, trying new experiences, and spending time with the family and friends who cherished him. Jesse lived his life fully, vibrantly, and unapologetically, and he will be missed beyond measure.

Jesse is preceded in death by his mother, Diana Pelosi. He is survived by his father, Jesse Shreves; his siblings Crystal (Mike) McClatchy, Trace (Heather) Shreves, Louis (Sara) Pelosi, and Chelsea Loving; and many devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Please contact the family for details on Jesse’s Celebration of Life.

Crevasse’s Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Shreves family.
