Obituary for Jacquelyn R. Blinn

 

Jacquelyn Rose (“Jackie”) Bradburn Blinn of Gainesville, Florida, passed away on December 17, 2025, in Gainesville, Florida, at the age of 80 due to complications from a neurological condition.

Jackie was born September 1, 1945, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She has a B.S. in Education from the University of Tennessee and a B.A. with Honors in Accounting from Saint Leo University.

She lived in Cranford, New Jersey; Munster, Indiana; Tacoma, Washington; and San Francisco. She came to Gainesville in 1986. She was an accountant for an accounting firm and Robinshore, Inc. (a builder).

Jackie was active in the Methodist church. She was a charter member of Norwood United Methodist Church in Knoxville, taught Sunday School for many years in Munster, Indiana, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for nearly 40 years.

Jackie’s 2nd marriage was at Trinity to Roger Blinn of Gainesville in 2002. She was active in United Women in Faith (f/k/a UMW), and serve as Treasurer for the unit and district.

She was fond of movies and travel, particularly trips to the Smokies and Europe. She is survived by her husband, Roger, her two sons, Steven and Bryan, a brother, Gene Bradburn (his wife, Ann), a sister, Jane Bradburn Pipkin, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Jackie in death are her parents, Floyd and Mildred (Luethke) Bradburn, two brothers, Floyd and Dennis, and a sister, Karen Bradburn Keller.
