Mike was our neighbor and good friend for 25 years. We will miss all the fun times we shared with him and Linda. Our hearts go out to Linda, Candice and Mike’s many family and friends.
I met Mike through the Sheriff’s Office. He had a great sense of humor and was a genuinely nice guy. We became friends and enjoyed many years working details for the Sheriff’s Office.
I think of Candice as one of my own.

I do not know what to say. I love Mike he is a great friend. We cherished your visits here! I look forward to seeing him again in heaven when we both look better than the last time we saw one another. Linda, you are such a good and wonderful person and I know you loved him so much and will miss him more than all. After walking you guys out when you were leaving from our last visit, I cried and then prayed. It was a sad parting but I knew where he was going was going to be so much better than we can even imagine.
I’m so sorry for your loss, Linda. Mike was always kind and he brought laughter to most situations. Hold your memories close.
So sorry for your loss! I will always remember Mike for his wit. So many good times we had at Barnett Bank! RIP Mike!
He and his close Buddies bonded with Ed and me for a Lifetime. He never failed to call, write, visit, text, and stay in touch. I have had Faithful Prayers for him and Linda and Family a long time now as we both knew his health was failing. It is with much Sadness that we conclude our Friendship on Earth, but it will be Revived in Heaven for Eternity when we meet again. Rest in Peace, Dear Mike—Former Student and Healed Forever Friend!❤️🙏✝️Sylvia Lauderdale Coates
