Anthony Albert Corrao, age 93, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on December, 19, 2025 at his residence at Discovery Village of Deerwood.

Born on April 21, 1932 in Chicago, IL, Tony was the son of Salvatore Corrao and Angelina Costanzo.  He is preceded in death by his wife Jeannette Ragusa Corrao, daughter Mary Frances Corrao, brother Joseph Corrao and sister Grace Duddles.

Tony is survived by his sisters Virginia Zielinski and Fran Magnussen, son James Anthony Corrao, daughter Anne Marie Corrao, granddaughters Laura and Karen, and grandson Hezekiah.

He was known for his earnest, calm, and responsible dedication to his family and friends and his open, consistent, and thoughtful approach to life.

  1. I knew him as a quiet man and very adept at playing hand-n-foot. He enjoyed being around crowded activity. I’ll miss his Christmas calamari :-).
