Clayton E (Andy) Anderson 91 years old of Gainesville FL went to be with the Lord, February 3, 2026. He was born to Henry and Cecile (Greathouse) Anderson on November 25, 1934 up Mission Hollow (South Park) in Charleston WV. He is preceded in death by his brothers Harold Anderson and Raymond Anderson. He is survived by his sister Lucille Bennett (John), wife Patricia Rowe Anderson, his children, Jeri Anderson Stallo (Joe) of Chesapeake Ohio, Ken Anderson (Sue) of Bradenton FL, Bruce Anderson (Angela) of Phenix City AL, Tim Anderson (Peggy) of Lake City FL, and (adopted) son Kelvin Chisolm of Gainesville FL. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Clayton last worked as a residential contractor in the Gainesville FL area. In his younger days he also preached the gospel and served the church in many ways including pastor and assistant pastor. He was an avid storyteller who could craft a cliffhanger that kept you in suspense for the surprise ending. He was a helpful friend to many and often volunteered his services to those in need.
