Cheryl Wells

Cheryl Lynn Wells (Lynn), age 72, passed at her home on Sunday, February 8,2026, surrounded by family members.

Lynn was born in Mansfield, Ohio and her family moved to the Jacksonvillearea in 1964. She attended Forest High School in the late 1960’s. Lynn completed her career working with Speck Pumps-Pool Products Inc. She retired on beautiful lake front property in Interlachen, Florida where she cultivated sizable gardens and cared for the last of her horses. Horses were her
hobby; driving fast cars was her passion.

Lynn was preceded in death by 4 hours by her mother, Caroline LaNette Hermes. She is survived by her husband Emmett Jackson Wells (Jack), her
daughter, Melanie Solomon Dobbins; Son-in-law, William Dobbins (Billy); Grandsons, William Dobbins and David Dobbins; Sister, Julie HermesHeckman and Brother, Kent Hermes.

Lynn was loved by many and will be missed
