Shane Patrick Yale of Chicago, IL, known to many by his birth name, Michael Thomas Feliciano, was born on April 11, 1966, and passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2026, in Sumterville, FL surrounded by his loved ones after a long and courageous battle with complications from Multiple Sclerosis and Multiple Myeloma.

Affectionately known as “Mickey,” he was a proud graduate of Roger C. Sullivan High School, Class of 1984. He was a devoted son, a loving brother, and a cherished uncle who deeply valued his family and the time spent with them. Mickey will be fondly remembered for his love of sports, his warm spirit, and his memorable cameo appearance in the film Rudy, which he proudly shared with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jorge Luis Feliciano, and his nephew, Dustin Lovelady.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Jean Ann Moore Feliciano; his siblings, Shannon Colleen Moore Lovelady, John Peter Moore Feliciano, Shawn Maureen Feliciano Naumovic, Kelly Rosemary Feliciano Marin, and brother-n-law Armando Marin, Jorgito Feliciano, and Karen Feliciano; his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Lovelady, Mihailo Naumovic, Lara Naumovic, Rebecca Attis, and Kenny Attis Jr.; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mihailo Jr., Maximus, Meliana, and Mason, Jr., along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Mickey’s strength, humor, and love for his family will live on in the memories of all who knew and loved him.

As one reflection reminds us, “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away and the love we share along the way.” Mickey filled many lives with those unforgettable moments.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing he is finally at peace, free from pain, and forever surounded by the love he gave so freely. His laughter, stories, and spirit will live on in family gatherings, shared memories, and in the countless ways he touched those around him. He will be loved, remembered, and missed always.
