Karen Denise Geisendorff

November 25, 1982 ~ February 1, 2026

Born in: Longview, Texas
Resided in: Jacksonville, Florida

Karen, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born in Longview, Texas, Karen moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where she spent the majority of her life. A true “Mandarin girl” at heart, she grew up attending Mandarin Oaks, Mandarin Middle, and Mandarin High School.

In her youth, Karen’s vibrant spirit shone through her passion for cheerleading. She proudly cheered for the St. Johns Sports Association and showcased her talent and teamwork in numerous St. Johns cheer competitions.

Beyond her school and sports years, Karen found her greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was happiest when she was outdoors—whether she was casting a line while fishing or gathering with her favorite people. She truly loved family cookouts, finding peace and happiness in the laughter and company of those she held dear.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy Allen Geisendorff and Kenneth Dale Geisendorff; her grandparents, Richard and Helen Geisendorff; her brother, Lance Allen Thigpen; her cousin, Crystal Banegas-Geisendorff; and her uncle, Ricky Geisendorff, along with many beloved aunts and uncles.

Her memory will be forever carried in the hearts of those she left behind: her devoted husband, Joseph Christopher; her stepmother, Terry Thigpen-Geisendorff; and her children, who were her world: son Devin Clinton Geisendorff, and twin daughters, Trinity and Serenity Christopher. She is also survived by her brothers, Kenny Dale Geisendorff and Daniel Keith Geisendorff; her dear Aunt Billie; and a large, loving extended family of cousins.

Karen’s warmth, her love for her family, and her bright spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Please contact the family for details of the upcoming celebration of life they are holding.

Crevasse’s Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Geisendorff family.
