It is with profound sadness that the family of Ronald Alan Tuuri announces his passing on March 4, 2026, at the age of 73 in Ocala, FL. He was surrounded by his wife and children, and two of his grandchildren.
Ron will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 53 years, Charlotte; his children Jennifer Guenther, Daniel (Stephanie) Tuuri, and Cynthia (Michael) Beyer; grandchildren Maia (Brian) Carn, October, Ezekial and Juliet Guenther, Anna and Davin Tuuri, and Reese and Cade Beyer; great-grandchildren Silas and Liala Carn; siblings Pamela (Robert) Merklein, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Tuuri, and Debra (John) Block; and many beloved special nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will also be dearly missed by countless friends.
He was predeceased by his parents June Greisch Gilbert and Osmo Tuuri, as well as by many beloved aunts and uncles.
Ron received both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He taught Industrial Arts at Grafton (WI) High School and Automotive Technology at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI. Ron was proud to have co-authored a comprehensive textbook. He loved to compete and to play, especially golf, cornhole, and billiards. Ron was an avid skier and was a big part of developing love of the sport in his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed entertaining family and friends with his saxophone and his many well-worn jokes. His favorite thing was bragging about his family.
Ron’s playfulness, love of life, and generosity of spirit will be remembered by many. He filled our lives with joy and laughter.
