Shawn Patrick Minor – May 5,1970-March 8,2026

Shawn Patrick Minor, 55, passed away on March 8,2026, after losing his life to cancer. Though his time was cut too short, he faced his illness with strength and the same determination that defined his life.

Shawn was a loving husband to his wife, Jammie Minor, and a devoted brother to his sister, Linda Kirst, and his brother, Charlie Minor. Family meant everything to Shawn, and he especially cherished his role as an uncle. He was a fantastic uncle who loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, always ready with a joke, a story, or a helping hand. He took pride in being someone they could look up to and count on.

One of Shawn’s greatest passions was old-time muscle cars. He had a special love for classics like the Nova and enjoyed talking about them, admiring them, and sharing that interest with others who appreciated the power and style of those timeless machines. For Shawn, it was never just about the cars; it was about the memories, the craftsmanship, and the simple joy of something built to last.

Shawn will be remembered for his loyal heart, his sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his family. The memories he created with those closest to him will continue to live on and bring comfort to everyone who knew him.

He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Crevasse’s Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Minor family.

  1. Dear little Brother.
I cherish all my memories of you as a little kid. Fearless, loving, fun and rarely was ever in bad mood. And always extremely protective of the people you loved.
I will miss you very much!! We have one more angel watching over us.

  2. It is an honor to be a part of your family. Watching the love in your eyes as you looked at your wife is the kind of love you read about in fairy-tales. The strength and care you provided the family will always be cherished.

  3. I remember Shawn as one of the sweetest he will always be my little cousin. He could fall down get hurt and bounce back up like nothing ever happened. I remember him and his brother Charlie jumping out a second story window and running back upstairs to do it again. The memories are endless. I loved his fearlessness. You will always be in my heart shawn.

  4. Shawn was a wonderful man who will never be forgotten. He held a special place in my heart, not only for marrying one of my closest friends, but for the care and guidance he gave my brother and cousin over the years. He will be deeply missed.

  5. You will always hold a special place in my heart and will missed always. The friendship you shared with my son, Scott, and other family members was an unbelievable bond. The love, support and encouragement you gave to your wife, showed us your dedication to achieving unbelievable goals for yourself and others. May you rest in peace while you share a place with other love ones we’ve lost, watching over us all.
