Joann Irene O'Malley

Joann I. O’Malley died Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the Haven Hospice Care Center after a long illness. She was 88 years old.

Joann was born August 18, 1937, to Frank Signorelli and Ruth (Liebermann) Signorelli in St. Louis, Missouri, where she was raised. She worked in the airline industry and as an administrative assistant for several companies. She moved to Gainesville, FL in 2008. She also worked in education and real estate and was skilled at cooking, home decorating, and hair styling. She will be remembered as a devoted wife as well as a dear friend and relative.

She is survived by her husband Mark O’Malley of Gainesville, FL, her daughter Maria Lorenz of Illinois, her sister Susan Steel of Washington, and her brothers-in-law Alan and Owen O’Malley of Gainesville.
