Patti was born on February 9, 1951, in Jersey City, New Jersey, the beloved daughter of the late Edmund and Sue Flynn, Rahway, New Jersey. She is predeceased by her niece Katherine Hughes; She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Raymond J. Bopf, Jr, Fleming Island, FL; her son, Raymond J. Bopf III and his wife Ashlyn of Ortega, FL; her siblings Susan (Robert) Hughes of Howell, NJ; Mary-Beth (Ray) Smith of Millsboro, DE; Edmund (Susan) Flynn of Cranford, NJ; and Marcy Flynn of Ocean Township, NJ. Her two cherished grandchildren, Rae and Van Bopf. Her nephew, Aidan Flynn, and niece Mckenna Flynn. She also leaves behind many other family members and loving friends who will feel her loss tremendously.
Patti had a wonderful and endearing smile and laugh, generous spirit, a quick-witted sense of humor, and always loved a good joke. She could easily have a conversation with anyone on any topic, anytime.
A sports enthusiast at heart, who loved running, in step with her four-legged buddy “Hennessy”, tennis (serving an ace), basketball (swishing free throws), and golf (nailing a putt). She loved to compete and had a zest for life, and the joy she brought to games, work, and hobbies. Her competitive nature was a positive part of her life and relationships. She proudly watched her son through the years playing little league baseball, basketball, and ice hockey; enthusiastically cheered from the sidelines during his high school and college lacrosse games. She was so proud of all his accomplishments, personally and professionally.
Patti had a deep passion for travel that seamlessly blended with her accomplished airline and cruise line career. Whether for work or personal joy, she embraced every opportunity to explore new places and connect with others. She enjoyed many destinations with Ray, family and friends. Her journeys reflected her curiosity, she loved riding on the Eurostar, rafting in Alaska, vacationing in the islands, and checking off another destination on her bucket list. What amazing stories she would tell, if asked, “what were your favorite memories?”
She enjoyed spending time at the “Jersey Shore” and some called it “PJ’s second home”, and it was there that she met her husband, Ray. Whether it was running on the Spring Lake boardwalk, cooking one of her many Italian dishes, or getting together with friends for a casual barbecue, Patti always cherished those special times.
Florida was calling and had resided in Apopka and Naples, before moving to Fleming Island. Patti was deeply loved and will be fondly remembered for her warmth and kindness, and the meaningful impact she made wherever she went.
Her loved ones find comfort knowing that Patti is at peace and in the presence of the Lord.
Our loving Angel, you had earthly Wings and displayed them proudly. Now your Wings are eternal.

My friend Patti has made a profound impact on my life. I will never forget her kind, loyal friendship. The memories I have will always bring me joy. She was what I call a “best”friend.
Patti was an Angel and the warmest person! Great sense of humour and a heart as big as the entire USA!
She will be missed but never ever forgotten! We all have another Angel near us all the time and especially Ray who was her soulmate and loved her dearly! Blessings and great memories!

I will surely miss Patti. She was my sidekick when we worked together… always making the atmosphere fun and exciting. At work or on sales calls, Patti would describe the two of us as the “lab” and the “chihuahua”. Patti, the friendly and happy-go-lucky labrador retriever and me, the spunky and very sassy chihuahua! She always said I had a lot of moxy considering my petite size. I can hear her laughing about it now!
I’m so happy we remained close friends even after she moved away. Over the years, Patti has always been in my thoughts and I looked forward to catching up with her and Ray during our phone conversations. Rest in peace, Patti! And, prayers and blessings for the entire Bopf family.
Patti and I were friends for as long as I can remember. Met riding our bikes in the neighborhood and became fast friends all through junior high And RAHWAY HIGH SCHOOL. We had plenty of good times and lots of fun!! Her family always treated me great too . HOMEMADE PIZZA on Friday nights was so good! My heartfelt condolences to Ray and R.j. And their families and all the Flynn family in N. J. I’m going to miss you PAT❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
