David Munoz

David Munoz passed away on April 30, 2026 at the age of 47. He was a devoted father, proud veteran, and deeply loved by his family and friends. He is survived by his daughters, Arianna Munoz (17), Anabelle Munoz (13), his former wife, Kristel Munoz (44); and many family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

David shared 19 years of marriage with his former wife, Kristel, and together they built a beautiful life centered around their daughters. Those who knew David will remember his sense of humor and the ways he showed care for the people he loved. He experienced both triumphs and hardships throughout his life, and while he quietly battled mental health struggles, he remained deeply loved by those closest to him.

David’s passing is a heartbreaking reminder that mental health struggles are real and deserve compassion, support, and open conversation without shame or stigma.

David requested a private funeral with only the family closest to him. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in David’s memory to Project Savior Outdoors, a local nonprofit that worked to support David through his struggles when he was willing.
