Louise George King (1925 – 2026) passed away peacefully at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Florida, on June 5, 2026. She was preceded in her passing by her husband, and fellow designer/partner/jeweler, Arthur King (1921-1991).
Louise often described herself as having been an art teacher. Most of her working life, she was an integral part of the business, Arthur King Jewelry. Beginning in New York, then went on to have shops in Miami, Havana, London, and ultimately Madison Avenue.
Louise is survived by nieces Dr.Katrine Geha Kirn (Steven) , Gainesville, Florida, Brenda George Brienza (Mark), Columbus, Ohio, and nephews Dr.Dwight Geha (Bonnie) South Natick, Massachusetts, and Dr. Alfred L. George, Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by nephew Dr. Michael Geha, Springfield, Massachusetts.

Louise was a wonderful neighbor for our family at Dockside. We will always have special memories of her and I very much enjoyed visiting her beautiful apartment. I was saddened to hear of her passing.
