Our beloved mother, Mary Elizabeth Warner, 90, went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2026. She dedicated her life to serving God, loving her family and caring for others.
Her faith was the foundation of her life, evident in her words, actions and unwavering trust in God’s promises.
Mary graduated from Western High School and Essex Community College in Baltimore, MD. She enjoyed a very successful career at CSX Transportation and its predecessors from 1964-1997. Upon retirement, she returned as a consultant from 2000-2014. She was a very active member of the National Association of Railway Business Women and held numerous leadership positions.
She was a longtime member of Mandarin United Methodist Church and served on multiple committees. After the passing of her husband, she facilitated a bereavement support group for fourteen years.
Volunteering was her passion, and if you ever talked to her you would know about her love for the Pace Center for Girls, Jacksonville, FL. A faithful volunteer for over twenty years, she and her many helpers worked together to stock and support “Ms. Mary’s Boutique”. She firmly believed in building up the girls, so they could develop and live successful lives. Her wish was for all girls to have opportunities and a foundation to achieve their goals. Mary also gave her time, treasures and talents to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Three Grains of Rice Mission and many others too numerous to count.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her family: her children, Amanda (Mandy) Ohorodnik (Mike), son, Thomas Tormay; stepchildren Joan Warner Parochetti and Jeff Warner; grandchildren, Gregory Shaw (Liz), Nicholas Ohorodnik, Ashley Maringo (Joey), Nicole Jackson, Amy Parochetti Patrick (Andrew), James Parochetti, Cameron Warner-Pugh (Tara), Brian Warner-Pugh; great-grandchildren, Everlee Buckley, Jadah Stubbs, Nora and Margaret Patrick, Sarah, Adam, Victoria, William and Noah Parochetti, Heidi and Colt Warner-Pugh; brothers, Jim Miller (Marge), Robert Miller (Linda); nephews, Craig Miller, Eric Miller (Grace), Scott Miller; great-nephews, Jimmy Miller III, Jonah and Gabriel Miller and great-nieces Jasmine and Evie Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl E. Warner; stepdaughter, Lark Pugh; parents Nancy and Walter Miller; sister Johnye B. Adams; and her nephew Jimmie Miller II.
Crevasse’s Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Warner family.
