Bob Russell Dees. Sr., 70, of High Springs FL passed away peacefully at Haven Hospice, Chiefland, FL on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from a brief illness.
Born in Gainesville, FL to Russell and Jeanette Dees.
Bob is survived by sons Barry (Lauren) Dees of Bronson, FL and Russ (Alisha) Dees of Lake Charles LA, 4 grandchildren Wess and Truette of Bronson, FL and Tinleigh and Brailynn of Lake Charles, LA, Brother Jed (Sue) Dees of Branford, FL and sister Dede Bevins of Trenton, FL, several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by both parents, brother Bill Dees, and companion of many years Peggy Green.
Bob loved hunting fishing, farming and caring for his animals. He was a truck driver for most of his life and a friend to anyone he met.
He will be missed.
