Alice Dianne Sherwood, 78, passed away on June 22, 2025, in Ocala, Florida.
Born on February 16, 1947, in Springfield, Illinois, Alice lived a life marked by dedication, creativity, and quiet strength.
From 1965 to 1967, Alice served her country with honor as a U.S. Army E5 Microbarograph Specialist. Her time in the military was a source of great pride throughout her life, and she carried the discipline and resilience she gained during those years into everything she did.
Alice had a deep love for rock music that stayed with her through the decades. She found joy and expression in crocheting and craft painting—hobbies that reflected her artistic spirit and brought beauty into the lives of those around her.
She was a wonderful woman and mother whose presence left an indelible mark on those who knew her.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Holly Sherwood; her sister, Margaret Sherwood; and her brother, Richard Sherwood. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tim Sherwood.
May her memory bring comfort and a smile to those who knew and loved her.
