Amy Clark

May 25, 2018

Amy Elizabeth Clark was born on Aug 26th 1964 in Wichita Falls TX. She was a military brat and traveled all over the country with her Air Force family. She was one of four sisters. Amy was always ready for a new adventure and always made friends wherever she lived. For instance when we moved to Hawaii she made two friends that were Japanese and neither could understand each other but off they went to play together. At age 19 she graduated from Socastee High School in Myrtle Beach,SC. with special honors and a standing ovation from her classmates. She started her working career there and also started her art. She won the ARC national art contest and her painting went all over the USA. She kept up her art training and continued a strong work ethic, never without a job. Her health never kept her from doing what she wanted to do. Life to her was for living and having fun. At 28 she moved into her own place and worked for Sandestin Resorts for 5 years and then moved with family to Jacksonville. She joined Grove House and lived and worked independently. Her friend Chris Cole gave her the opportunity to continue her art and she showed at the Cummer Art Museum and had an art show that sold many paintings. Her work continued at Chilies for over 10 years and she lived independently with the help of supported living. Her life was full even with all her major health problems. Amy got her angel wings on Friday, May 25th and she will ever be in our hearts. She has always been a miracle to our family. She is survived by her parents, Len and Katey Clark, her sisters Kelly Clark Windt(John) and Jennifer Clark Sadowski (Brian), Jesse Windt, Alec Robinson, Jared Windt, Collin Robinson, Jaime Windt, Olivia Sadowski, Joshua Windt, Jake Sadowski, and Claire Sadowski. Her loving Godparents Andy and Earl Henderson and their entire family will miss Amy dearly. She was preceded in death by her sister Tish Robinson.
