Angelo R. Truoccolo

Ocala, FL – Angelo R. Truoccolo, 85, of Ocala, FL passed away on February 21, 2023 after a period of declining health. Angelo was born on January 8, 1938 in Bronx, NY to the late Esther and Nicholas Truoccolo. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eleanor (Paglia) Truoccolo, and his three children Angelo Truoccolo and his wife Becky, Debra Harvey, and Lauren Daniels and her husband Mike. He leaves his beloved grandchildren Brian, Christine, Amy, and Jack, as well as his adoring nieces and nephews. He was the brother of Lucille Squillante and Esther Truoccolo, and the brother-in-law of Maria Murino.

Angelo graduated from Mt. Saint Michael Academy, Bronx, NY and went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps attaining the rank of Sergeant. After his honorable discharge, he worked briefly in construction before beginning a twenty year career with the NY City Sanitation Department where he retired as Supervisor. Shortly after retirement, he pursued a second career as a massage therapist in Virginia and Florida which continued for another twenty years. Along the way Angelo enjoyed helping others as a volunteer firefighter (Yorktown Heights, NY) and a trained CERT team member in his Florida community. He made friends everywhere he went and was revered by his entire family.

Angelo was a lifelong sun worshipper who enjoyed lifting weights until his early 80’s, playing golf, and writing poetry. He was a spiritual man who praised the Lord daily for all the blessings in his life.

  2. Remembering FEB. 14, 1959 the day we became a couple & it was the beginning of our journey for the next 62 1/2 years. & what a journey it had been. Engaged Dec. 25, 1959, Married June 18 1960, I am now waiting until God has said my journey ends & I will be with you once again. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY 2026, Thinking of you & missing you.
