Anne Carol Horsey

Our beloved mother, Anne Carol Horsey, age 76 years, entered peacefully into Heaven on October 20, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer.  

Anne was born on December 19, 1946, in Newark, NJ, to the late Mary and Dominick Lordi of Livingston, NJ.  

She will be ever loved by her devoted husband of 40 years, Richard, who remained a constant strength and support to her.

And she will be lovingly missed by her family: daughters, Carol, Jacqueline and Erin; step-daughters, Jennifer, Edie (Tony), and Anna; grandchildren, Tiffany (Nick), Zachary, Nicholas, Emilie, and Abigale Rose; great grandchildren, Talia Ruth, Mason, and Rory; her dear siblings: brother Dominick and sister-in-law, Gail, sister, Katherine, brother, Bruce, and sister-in-law, Janet, and sister-in-law, Linda.  She will also be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews: Michael (Kate), Susan, Dominick (Jen), Christina, Bruce, Heather (Damien), and Jessica; and great-niece and nephews, Adam, Anthony (Amanda), Amanda, Gail (Robert).

She is pre-deceased by her son, Patrick, her sister, Deborah, her brother, Kenneth, and brother-in-law, Roger.

Anne is remembered for her gregarious personality, laughter, and her passion for all things spiritual.  Richard loves their memories of traveling especially during the autumn months.  She adored creative writing and painting, and had drafts of short children’s stories and poems with her own illustrative artwork.  She deeply loved being with family, cooking, watching old movies, and singing.

A memorial service and burial will be held at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Bridgewater, New Jersey by the family.  Date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Anne’s name to the American Cancer Society.
