Arlyn Russell Paynter

Arlyn Russell Paynter was born in Whitewater, Wisconsin on January 31, 1941 and passed away in Gainesville, Florida on October 22, 2018. He was devoted to his family—wife Celia, son Shayne (Sunitha), daughter Michelle (Chad), and three grandchildren: Inaara, Iryaan, and Maisey. He adored them all. Arnie grew up in a loving, boisterous family with six siblings and a joyful mother. He loved people, never meeting anyone he couldn’t engage in conversation. He had a gift for making people laugh. In recent years, he traveled twice to England with his wife and dear friends Shirley and Lori. He was down-to-earth, kind, generous and brave. He was one of a kind.
