Barbara Gail O' Steen-
Gail was born May 9,1939 in Swainsboro, Ga. and resided most of her life in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a graduate of Landon High School and also attended dental assistant training. She passed peacefully on June 25, 2023. She was predeceased by her mother Grace Evelyn Wilson (Duggar), step father Donald “Ralph” Wilson and sister Jeanette Hudson.
She is survived by her spouse Jerry O’ Steen and her three children, Janet Cagle (Marke), Jimbo Baker (Nancy), and Pam Jordan (Richard). Gail also has seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Gail worked in the dental field for many years eventually becoming an office manager. She loved to dance and mastered clogging and beach bop. She also enjoyed deep sea fishing and was quick to grab the rod when there was a “fish on”!! Gail was a very caring and compassionate person who always greeted you with her beautiful smile. She will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fort Caroline Baptist Church. Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the O'Steen family.

I had the privilege of being Gail’s daughter in law for 47 years. Gail was a very loving person who loved to have fun and quick to share her beautiful smile. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. She was a very patient person even when her grandkids ate her Hershey’s Kisses and hid the wrappers behind the couch. She was loved very much and will be greatly missed.
My grandmother was a beautiful and kind person and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
